A Note from Kirby, the Beekeeper:

“Working as a full-time Insured, Professional Bee Remover is rewarding! I began as a Beekeeper, Nature Enthusiast and Teacher; now I get to make a living finding and relocating bees from the most interesting places!

Relocating the honey bee colonies to my home apiary is a labor of love- and it’s super-fun! I get to tend to the needs of the bees and enjoy time outside. I also get to reap the rewards of happy, healthy colonies in the form of delicious golden honey I bottle and provide for folks just like you.

But it ain’t easy… most rescued bee colonies need sweet-lovin’ and constant attention to grow strong enough to survive their first Winter in order to produce excess honey beyond their own needs that I can harvest, bottle and pass on. Apart from the expense of the wooden hives and components I procure to house the honey bees, there’s the never-ending cost of feeding the bees and tending to their seasonal needs.

So it goes full circle. North Texas residents seek me out to remove bees from their homes. I, in turn, need new customers to find me and hire my services so that I can afford to re-home all these bees. Then maybe- and that’s a BIG maybe, a season or two later, the bees are healthy and happy enough to produce honey for all of us to enjoy. Ah- the circle of beekeeping life…

Clients seeking Rescue, Removal and Relocation of Honey Bees in and around their home or business are an interesting lot- they not only want the bees to find a new, sustainable, healthy home, but they also want to learn about the bees themselves- why are they here, how do they survive, what can we do to help bees?

It is very fulfilling knowing clients that find caring professionals like me are receiving the best, personalized service available in North Texas. Who better to call for your bee situation than an actual beekeeper? Guys like my coworker Ryan and myself simply want to make a living working with Honey Bees in all aspects of their existence and do right by the people that hire us.

Gimme me a call, send me a text or email- I’ll answer all your questions and walk you through the removal and relocation process. The bee colonies we take away are cared for meticulously as they regrow into a thriving new hive.”
